Goyoung's work begins with collecting fragments of images. The approach is based on pareidolia—the unconscious tendency to find meaning in amorphous shapes such as clouds, stains, or traces. Sometimes colliding, they form new scenarios. These are myths, tales, and scenes from yet-to-be-revealed stories. The paintings do not suggest a clear center or a single narrative.
