Yang Jie explores the spaces within and around vessels, the traces left on surfaces, and the subtle presence of memory and emotion, quietly depicting them through the texture of clay, faint outlines, and the presence of plants.

Yang Jie graduated from the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts and primarily creates oil paintings.
