Han Youngsoo captures a city in transition, focusing on the vitality and dignity of people amidst postwar reconstruction, using a sophisticated formal sensibility that sometimes recalls fashion photography.

Han Youngsoo is one of the most significant Korean photographers of the twentieth century, with a solo exhibition at MISA SHIN GALLERY following 'Unknown City' in 2024.
