Ogaki has consistently sought out the single thread of light running between humanity and the cosmos, rendering the human body as a source of galactic light.

Ogaki has developed large-scale installations exploring the human body and the cosmos both in Japan and internationally. She has been based in Ibaraki Prefecture since returning to Japan in 2010.
