This exhibition marks a shift from snow to the sea, as the artist explores the sea and its resonance with her childhood memories of Lake Biwa.

The artist travels to the location first, observes the outside world through the camera, and gradually sharpens her sense of dissonance and 'this is it' feeling through repeated photography, aiming to glimpse the world and herself.

Nao Nakai has been working on this project for six years in Niigata, where she captured the heavy snowfall.
