この展覧会について

This exhibition introduces for the first time works where photographic images are transferred onto cotton fabric using ink.

作家について

The artist combines photos, magazines, and internet images, collages them, and reconfigures them as dioramas. He also applies paint and transfers images, exploring the boundary between reality and fiction.

Kenshiro Kihara has participated in exhibitions such as 'Wings' (2025) at ARTDYNE, Tokyo, and 'Flowers' (2026) at Ginza Tsuruya Bookstore, Tokyo. He was selected for the 28th Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Award in 2025.
