The artist engages with earth and clay to seek out the unknowable existence, interpreting the memories embedded in the soil as a dialogue with those who are no longer present.

Based in Shizuoka and Kanagawa prefectures; graduated from Nagoya Institute of Arts and Design; began creating works with clay after a change in living environment; influenced by traditional Japanese left-hand masonry techniques and fresco methods.
