The exhibition features new works inspired by the 15th-century optical device 'Peep Show,' exploring distorted perspectives and visual illusions.

curated by Sato Eiyo

作家について

The artist creates numerous flat works that resemble a hybrid of painting and printmaking, using motifs from Christian altarpieces and manipulating perspective and space with carving tools.

Kaoru Taguchi graduated from Aichi Prefectural Art University in 2019 and completed his master's at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2021. He has held solo exhibitions in Tokyo and participated in group exhibitions in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Nagasaki.
