作家について
The artist believes that 'all footpaths have soil beneath them.' The layers of oil paint on the canvas are built up over a year, reflecting the cycles of the seasons and representing the layers of memory and Japanese culture.
Kenpei Yunde was born in 1970 in Moriguchi, Osaka. He graduated from the Osaka University of Arts in 1996. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and received awards, including the Nihon Kinen Biennale Award and the Nissay Insurance Art Prize.
