The exhibition features works created during the artist's residency in Iceland, reflecting a new level of engagement with painting and the influence of the Icelandic landscape and environment.

The artist focuses on ordinary yet intriguing landscapes, exploring how they can be reimagined and re-expressed through painting. The experience in Iceland brought new perspectives and a heightened purity in her approach to painting.

Born in 1990 in Saitama Prefecture. Graduated from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2015. Received the Special Prize from the Jury at the FACE Japan Insurance Art Award in 2016. Participated in the VOCA 2018 exhibition in 2018. Completed a residency in Iceland in 2025 as a Pola Art Foundation Fellow.
