Depicts women's clothing and expressions amid seasonal landscapes, aiming to convey a calm and clear heart, like the wind and a flower.

Born in Okayama Prefecture; graduated from university with studies in oil painting and etching; worked in advertising design; became a freelance illustrator in 1992; has created covers, illustrations, and book designs for children's books; has taught at schools in Tokyo since 2010; has had solo and group exhibitions, and has had works commercialized in North America and Russia.
