theme Bedside Stories

This exhibition presents Bedside Stories, a new series centred on toy beds, which features a toy bed as a motif and explores the inner world emerging in the moments before falling asleep.

作家について

Starting from childhood memories and emotions, Maho Takahashi creates art while exploring how personal experiences change meaning over time and through interactions with others. She perceives childhood as a time not yet clearly defined by anything, portraying through her paintings a state where memories and values continuously shift.

An artist based in Katori City, Chiba Prefecture. Operates 'Studio ANOKO,' based in the former Higashi-Odo Nursery School, where they conduct their creative activities.
