作家について
Vivid colors and free-form shapes that fill the entire canvas. Taro Okamoto’s prints possess a power that stirs the viewer’s senses.
Born in what is now Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Arrived in Paris in 1930. Returned to Japan from France in 1940. Published The Art of Today in 1954. Created Tower of the Sun for Expo ’70 in 1970. Passed away in 1996.
