作家について
The artist creates sculptures by tearing manga books into pieces and forming them into blocks, and by carving people into the landscape in the forest. The artist draws on personal experiences in manga. The two common processes in the artist's work are creating materials and situations, and borrowing forms to create.

Has held solo exhibitions since 2015 and participated in numerous group exhibitions. Received awards including the KEAT Grand Prize in 2013 and the Tokyo Governor's Prize in 2016.
