Kazuhiko Hachiya

Kazuhiko Hachiya is a Japanese media artist. He was an associate professor at the Department of Advanced Art Expression, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts from 2010 and became a full professor in 2021. Born in Saga Prefecture, he graduated from the Image Design Department of Kyushu Institute of Art and Design. He developed the playful email software "PostPet." Recent works include the "Open Sky Project," which creates a real-life Mael from the film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.
