About this exhibition
This exhibition will unveil his largest work to date, serving as the culmination of the series initiated by his 'Gigantization Manifesto'.
The artist
Mori’s practice involves improvisation and profound engagement with materiality, starting from the medium’s existing form and mass, and gradually twisting and subverting pre-established harmonies as it moves toward the final piece.
Mori was born in Aichi Prefecture in 1983. He graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2009 and held his first solo exhibition in 2010. He participated in the Yokohama Triennale in 2011 and held his first solo exhibition at PARCEL in 2020. In 2024, he issued his 'Gigantization Manifesto' during his solo exhibition at the Rokuzan Art Museum in Nagano.
