this is her first exhibition with Taka Ishii Gallery in eight years and the first since her passing, featuring works made between 2006 and 2019.

apply the ethos of props and theatrical backdrops as a distancing device, creating moonlit landscapes with subtle shifts in perspective, and using erasure as central to her practice, building up dense layers of washes and removing pigment to create negative spaces and ambiguity in pictorial space.
