About this exhibition

This exhibition focuses on Higaki's childhood memories and his experience of migration, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and the coexistence of different cultural influences within his personal history.

The artist

Ken Higaki uses traditional Venetian painting techniques to depict the physical presence, tension, and the boundaries between desire and violence, as well as the fragility and impulses hidden within humans.

Ken Higaki has held solo exhibitions in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and residencies, including in Berlin and Los Angeles.
