Recent works feature 'Lacuna,' characterized by the blank space between the photograph and the described part, which clearly defines the boundary between reality and fiction.

By adding images that extend beyond the photograph, the artist visualizes what lies outside of the visual. Monochrome images surrounding the central color photograph are imagined landscapes based on the photograph's information, embodying the uncertainty of memory.

Born in 1975 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from the Graduate School of Art and Design, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2003. Held a solo exhibition titled 'PAINT, SEEING PHOTOS' at the Kabukicho Museum of Art from 2019 to 2020.
