Infiltrating Paintings — Matter and Image
This exhibition explores the phenomenon of 'penetration' in painting, focusing on the interaction between material and support, and how this differs from traditional painting practices.
The artists explore the relationship between material and image, using staining techniques to allow the material to interact with the support, creating a field where material and substance meet.
