About this exhibition
Focuses on Tokyo's streets, blending iconic buildings with beauties to create a new series inspired by Hokusai's 'Famous Views of Edo' and aiming to represent Tokyo through each work.
The artist
Uses traditional Japanese painting techniques with a pop aesthetic and design sensibility influenced by Mucha and pre-war posters, depicting beauties. Also creates small works inspired by unique preferences such as telephone poles, subways, and manhole covers.
