the exhibition features the new work Microcosmos 2 (2026), created from fragments of light preserved on magic lantern slides, alongside Constellation (2025)
curated by Itaru Oura (Curator, The Museum of Modern Art, Saitama)
The artist
explores light and time, memory and perception through film, music, photography, collage, installation, and audiovisual performance, transforming images into moving-images imbued with light, movement, and sound
received the Tiger Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and Grand Prix awards at multiple international festivals, including Hamburg, Moscow, and 25 FPS; exhibited at documenta 14, Shanghai Biennale, Aichi Triennale, and major museums worldwide
