walking / mesh
the exhibition explores the relationship between walking and distance, as well as the role of drones in altering the perception of distance and vision, introducing new works that incorporate drone imagery and reconfigure spatial composition.
curated by Yoko Nobe (Senior Curator, Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery)
focuses on the 'boundaries' between people and environments, exploring how distance is created to protect oneself, using motifs such as walls, fences, and grids, and employing watercolor, colored pencils, and egg tempera on washi paper and panels.
