About this exhibition
The exhibition features works from the film era, capturing aircraft, airlines, and airports that have since disappeared.
The artist
Since first flying in 1973, he has been captivated by the charm of aircraft and has been visiting Haneda Airport with a camera. He transitioned from negative film to positive film, where exposure was fixed and could not be corrected. He carefully took each shot, capturing moments that moved him.
Has been taking aviation photographs for 53 years, with 2450 flights and 95 trips. Established 'scenic aircraft photography' and is considered a pioneer in establishing aircraft as a genre.
