About this exhibition
This exhibition features a shift in the artist's approach, where he directly observes and paints scenes and plants he has grown himself, incorporating new forms and colors inspired by nature.
The artist
The artist creates works by starting with the palette of paints, prioritizing color and touch. He draws what he sees directly, such as landscapes and plants he has grown himself, rather than trying to resemble motifs or models.
Born in 1979 in Yokohama, graduated from the Karlsruhe University of Art and Design in Germany, lived and worked in Berlin, and is currently based in Shizuoka, Izu.
