About this exhibition

This exhibition explores the concept of 'seeing beyond the visible' through the theme of 'three eyes' and the depiction of unseen entities, reflecting the artist's unique approach to traditional Japanese art and modern aesthetics.

The artist

The artist's works often feature a third presence, aiming to see beyond the visible world and depict the unseen, such as desires, fears, and the bizarre.

Born in 1987 in Kanagawa Prefecture; graduated from the Department of Craft, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2013; participated in exhibitions at the Ueno Mori Art Museum and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa; exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris in 2019.
