Fruits, and Seeds

Nao Oishi's world is full of small lives such as plants, birds, bugs, etc. on the base finely finished with wax. She exhibits the works of love and hymn for the lives which silently fulfill their fates and circulate under any circumstances.

Ms. Oishi won the grand prize at the contest hosted by Galerie Nichido 'Mirai-ten (Future Exhibition)' in 2018, and won the Paris prize at 'Showakai Exhibition' of the following year with the work exhibited as its supplementary prize. This year, she held a solo show in the Galerie Nichido booth at ART FAIR TOKYO with great reputation.
