This exhibition focuses on the artist's deepening interest in the presence and absence of color, as well as the spatial and emotional structures between people and objects.

Glantz moves between figuration and abstraction, emphasizing the presence of materials and the process of making. She builds images through repetitive actions such as painting, scraping, polishing, and layering, gradually altering color, form, and texture.

Based in Los Angeles, Glantz is having her first solo exhibition in Japan. She was born in Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Copenhagen, followed by earning a degree in Art and Linguistics from UCLA and a Master's in Visual Art from Columbia University.
