About this exhibition
This exhibition focuses on Eiji Miwa's exploration of the 'visual movement' through dynamic and rhythmic brushwork, giving new expressions to familiar scenes and motifs by capturing the distortions and beauty in the shifting gaze.
The artist
Eiji Miwa's approach is to depict what he sees as it is, using scientific thinking in his composition and capturing subjects from a unique perspective with exceptional descriptive power, giving new expressions to everyday scenes and motifs.
Eiji Miwa has been exhibiting since 2012 and has participated in numerous art fairs and exhibitions both in Japan and internationally. He received an Encouragement Prize at the 'Art Newcomers 2020' in 2020.
