About this exhibition
curated by Ekow Eshun
The artist
Through a unique aesthetic inspired by oral traditions, Julianknxx's video works question how we construct local and global narratives, while quietly bringing to light the sensation of existing in liminal spaces.
This is Julianknxx's first solo exhibition in Japan, and it traces the history of Africa and the diaspora.
