About this exhibition
This is the first exhibition in a year for Itami Sayo and kyaraai, and it is a two-person exhibition.
The artists
kyaraai's work is based on 'once upon a time' everyday life, using large-eyed girls from childhood manga and fancy colors, while Itami Sayo creates paintings and haiku.
Itami Sayo was born in 1992 in Tokushima Prefecture and studied Japanese painting at Kyoto Institute of Art and Design. kyaraai was born in 1996 in Osaka Prefecture and graduated from the Art Production Department at Kyoto Institute of Art and Design. kyaraai began publishing works on the internet around 2009 and started exhibiting from 2014.
