Exhibition

The artist arranges natural and artificial materials such as wood, metal, stone, concrete, and vinyl in space without processing them, creating scenes called 'situations (scenery)' as works, especially through large-scale installations that combine different materials to reveal the relationship between materials and surrounding space.

Sugiki Shigeo has held a total of 16 solo exhibitions at Tokyo Gallery since 1976, and has participated in numerous exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
